Building strong, trusting relationships with our clients is a top priority with Simply Pets. Through the use of our convenient, online mobile app, we keep in touch via messages and visit journals so you’re always in the loop with how your pet is doing while in our care.
We offer the convenience and reliability of a larger pet care company but we keep our team small to ensure a personal, family-oriented experience that you and your pet deserves from a pet care provider. Meet the Simply Pets team below.

Meet Josie
Hi, I’m Josie! Simply Pets may look like a big team, but at heart, we’re a small, tight-knit group, and I’m here as your go-to person. My dog, Louie, is my baby (seriously, he’s my son!), so I know what it feels like to want someone you can fully trust with your four-legged family. That’s why we take reliability and consistency so seriously.
What sets us apart? Every team member goes through our proven training process (one I even consult other pet care businesses on!), and is double-certified in Pet CPR & First Aid and Pet Care Team Training, so you can feel confident that no matter who comes to your door, your pets are in good hands. We’re so committed to showing up for you that we even have backup systems in place to make sure no visit is ever missed.
I’m proud to lead a small but mighty team of people from all walks of life, from vet tech students to local parents to lifelong pet lovers, all united by a shared passion for caring for your pets as if they were our own.

Brittany grew up in Gurnee, practically in Six Flags’ backyard, and has had a soft spot for animals ever since her family adopted Zuzu, a sweet golden retriever who gives endless kisses and snuggles, barks like a fearless guard dog, and then promptly hides under the table when things get too real. Brittany loves being part of the care and safety that animals depend on, and finds great joy in giving them the love and support they deserve in return for all the happiness they bring us. She especially loves meeting new furry friends and getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Outside of work, Brittany enjoys spending time with family, playing Animal Crossing on her Switch, practicing gel nail artistry at home, watching her favorite video game streamers, and soaking up sunny days by the pool. A fun fact about Brittany: she’s a twin, has younger siblings who are twins, and her biological dad is a twin too. She’s excited to care for your furry family member and make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home.

Liz is from Wheaton, Illinois, and brings nearly a decade of experience as a dog walker and pet sitter to the Simply Pets team. She shares her home with her two feline babies, Petunia and Prince, who joined her family at 8 months and 12 weeks old and are part of the long line of beloved pets she’s cared for throughout her life. Liz has been working with animals for about nine and a half years and truly loves the joy that comes with caring for pets and meeting new furry friends. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her daughters, one of whom attends the University of Iowa while her youngest runs track at her high school. A fun fact about Elizabeth is that she has had horses and showed them for most of her life, giving her a lifelong connection to animals of all kinds. She wants pet parents to know that she will love and care for their pets as if they were her own.

José grew up in Aurora, Illinois, and brings his deep love for animals to the Simply Pets team. He shares his home with three incredible dogs: Kobe, a deaf but lively Dalmatian who communicates through hand signals, Luna, a calm and loyal pocket bully affectionately known as the “queen” of the family, and Nala, a spunky micro bully who proves that big personalities come in small packages. Jose has always been inspired by the unique bond between humans and animals, which led him to pursue a degree in Animal Science. Outside of his passion for pets, Jose has a creative flair for fashion. He began altering thrift finds during university and has since designed custom jeans, inspired by the stories behind some of the world's top fashion brands. A fun fact about José? He’s part metal thanks to a rod in his leg following an accident, making him a little bionic! José is committed to treating every pet as if they were his own, offering the same love and care he gives Kobe, Luna, and Nala. His favorite motto, “Day 1, not 1 day,” reflects his proactive and dedicated approach, ensuring every pet feels safe, loved, and understood. Simply put, your furry friends are in great hands with José!

Jamie grew up in Carol Stream, Illinois, and has been an animal person for basically forever. At home, Jamie has quite the crew: three dogs, Belle, Reece, and Maggie, plus Draco the bearded dragon, Rex the robo hamster, and Gary the fish. She loves getting to know each pet's personality, routine, and little quirks. Whether they need some extra patience, plenty of playtime, or just someone who understands their usual routine, she is all about making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. She's excited to be part of the Simply Pets team to meet even more furry, scaly, and tiny friends around the community. When Jamie isn't hanging out with animals, you'll usually find her spending time with family, traveling, and making memories with her husband and kids. Fun fact: Jamie was selected to perform in the Chicago Bears pregame dance show for THREE years.

Page grew up in rural Illinois, just south of Kankakee, and has always had a soft spot for animals. These days, that includes Presley, her boxer-pitty-lab mix who is equal parts cuddle bug, couch queen, and still just a little bit feral. Presley had a tough start as a stray, but now she’s all about food, family, and claiming the best spot on the couch. Her story is a big part of why Page understands just how much safety, consistency, and love can mean to a pet. What Page loves most about animals is their instant feedback. You always know where you stand, and usually whether or not you should have brought snacks. Helping busy pet parents is right in Page’s wheelhouse. She knows life gets hectic, but your pets still deserve the same love and care when you can’t be there. She’s happy to follow your routine, learn what makes your pet feel comfortable, and care for them like they’re part of her own family. Outside of pet care, Page spends her time watching her son play hockey and working out. And for the fun fact that really deserves its own moment: she’s a retired police sergeant AND a former beauty queen. Page is excited to meet your pet babies, earn their trust, and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.
